Dr. Sylvia
Veterinarian
Hi! I am Sylvia M. Chappell, DVM. I grew up in West New York, NJ. I attended Cook College, Rutgers University in NJ (GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!) and graduated in 1991 with a B.S. in Animal Science. I was then fortunate to be part of the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, AL (GO TIGERS!) graduating class of 1995.
After graduating from Veterinary School, I served York County residents and their “furry babies” as an associate veterinarian at Chappell Animal Hospital. I was part of their team for 14 years. Now, I am excited to form the White Rose Veterinary Clinic family!
My mission as a veterinarian is to provide informed, professional, caring and respectful veterinary care to all of my patients. I like to educate the parents of my patients so that they are able to make the best decisions regarding their pet’s health.
My professional interests include preventive medicine. I believe that we can prevent common diseases and extend both quality and quantity of life for our fuzzy children through proper diet, exercise, and yearly check-ups!
Personally, I am a happy mother of one sweet little girl named Stella. My family shares our small country home with 3 dogs -Bruiser. Pepper and Teddy (she adopted me!). My dear parents reside in South Carolina and my sister and her husband serve in the United States Army.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and your furry children!
